Cristian slept well through the night.  Today, they will be reducing the ventilator’s control over his breathing so as to encourage him breathing on his own.  This is in preparation for his procedure tomorrow.  He is scheduled for 10:20AM tomorrow to enter the Operating Room.  There, he will be scoped and if all is well, will have his breathing tube removed.  He will still need to stay for likely another week afterward, but would move from the PICU to an outpatient room.  So far, everything is going smoothly.
