Cristian continues to recover well.  They removed the last drain from his neck this morning.  With the reduced paralytics, he slips in and out of consciousness.  When awake, he is alert enough to look around, nod, wave, and even hold hands.  He is aware of what is going on.  As it stands, the plan remains to wake him up completely on Thursday.
